Setting Up 2-Week Working Day Patterns
Not everyone works the same days every week. Your team might work a nine-day fortnight, have every second Friday off, or work a rotating roster where one week looks different from the next. HR Partner's working day templates support 2-week work patterns, so leave is always calculated using the days your employees actually work.
In this article, you will learn how to set up a 2-week template, choose which week the pattern starts on, and assign the template to employees, including scheduling template changes for a future date.
How do I Create a 2-Week Working Day Template?
Head to Time Off & Leave > Configure > Work Days and click +Add Work Day Template

As you have done with your other Work Day Templates, you need to name your template and stipulate whether the individual works the same hours on every day they work, or varied hours. Then, just beneath this, you will see a checkbox to enable a two week template:

If the person works the same hours each day, simply tick the working days for each week:

If using variable daily hours, enter the hours for each working day too:

As a final step, in the Pattern Settings section, select where Week 1 starts. This can either be the Sunday before the employee's start date or on any other named Sunday, referred to as the "anchor Sunday":

WARNING: Weeks in a 2-week pattern always run from Sunday to Saturday, even if your working week normally starts on a Monday. Keep this in mind when you decide which days belong to Week 1 and which belong to Week 2.
NOTE: If you use the Employee Start Date option and later correct an employee's start date, the week they are in may change as well.
