Advanced Tools - Move Employee Attachments to a Different Category

HR Partner has housekeeping routines for changes made within the Employee Records feature. These routines can make updates and rectify the system changes you’ve made, including the specific purpose of moving employee attachments to a different category.

You can use our housekeeping routines by going to Setup > Tools > Advanced. Then, look for the section with the heading 'Employee Record Updates'.

Move Employee Attachments to a Different Category

This housekeeping routine allows you to bulk move attachments in an employee's File Attachments module that are in a specific category to another category to be housed in. For example, if everyone has documents stored in a 'Contracts' category folder within their File Attachments module, you could use this tool to move any of those documents into another File Attachments category (i.e. if you have another or new category folder titled 'Signed Documents').

Please note that this page lists ALL category folders across the File Attachments module. This includes categories that have been set up to have restrictions based on Department, which are not uniquely labeled.

To use this tool, select the 'See Options' button for 'Move Employee Attachments to a Different Category'.

When to Use This Tool

This is a great tool if you are needing to reorganize your company's employee records management or decrease the amount of categories in the employee File Attachment module.
