Ada - Your AI Recruitment Assistant

At HR Partner, we understand the impact AI and technology are having in our world today—including in the HR and recruitment space. Introducing Ada, our AI Recruitment Assistant!

Ada essentially sits alongside your other selection panel members and evaluates incoming job applications either individually on demand or automatically as they come in from your own HR Partner job board or third-party job boards like Indeed.

Ada looks at the applicant's resume, cover letter, and their answers to your job application form, and compares them to your job listing to evaluate suitability. She will fill in your Scorecard with comments and star ratings, add a Comment to the job application with her thoughts, and she will also assess and communicate if the resume or cover letter was auto-generated using AI, and warn you if the probability is high.

Please note that Ada will be automatically turned 'on' and available for all VIP clients only. If you are not currently a VIP client and want to utilise this feature, you will need to upgrade your subscription to our VIP tier.

Steps to Setting Up Ada

The first step to enabling Ada is to go to Setup > Company Info > and scroll down to the Additional Modules section at the bottom of the page. Tick the option to 'Enable Ada AI Agent', then save the changes.

Next, click on the 'AI token credits' blue wording just below the setting you ticked. This will take you to another page to purchase AI Tokens. Alternatively, you can also get to this page by going to Setup >  Account > AI Credits.

Setting Up Ada for Applicants in a Job

To enable Ada for ALL applicants in a job, go to the job posting's settings and scroll to the Evaluation Panel section. Tick on the option to 'Automatically evaluate every incoming job application with Ada AI.'

Please be aware that turning this on can quickly use up a lot of your purchased AI credits.

To make your credits last, while still utilising Ada on a larger scale, a suggestion would be to have just those in specific job application stages evaluated. To enable Ada for just groups of applicants, go to the job's specific page from Recruitment > Jobs > and select the applicable job. Then, select the three dots icon for the appropriate applicant stage, and select 'Ask Ada.'

This will ask Ada to use AI to evaluate all applicants at this stage.

However, if you do not want to use your AI credits, you can just have Ada evaluate applicants individually. To have Ada evaluate specific applicants only, go into the applicant's profile and select the 'Application Action' icon, then the 'Ask Ada' option.

Evaluating Applicants using Ada

All of Ada's assessments will be in the Applicant's profile. One of the first evaluation pieces you will see from Ada is her AI-generated content detection.

To see Ada's comments and star ratings, simply go to the applicant's Scorecard tab.

Like all the AI tools we are building into HR Partner, we like to see AI work alongside and help humans, rather than replace them, and Ada is just that - another selection panel member that adds her thoughts and ratings to a job application to enable quicker summarising by other human panel members.
