Custom Employee Self Service Dashboard
Ensuring your employees are engaged in your platform is crucial when it comes to a successful rollout, and nobody knows your staff better than you do! With that in mind, you have the ability to design the interface of the ESS, choosing which widgets they see when they log in!
To do this head to Setup > Configure > Layouts and click on the blue edit icon next "Employee Portal Dashboard" highlighted below:
The page that opens up is your ESS Dashboard editor; it will show four sections, namely "Top", "Left", "Right" and "Bottom" as well as a list of "Available Widgets" down the right hand side:
It really is as easy as dragging those you do not want from the "Top", "Left", "Right" and "Bottom" sections to the list of "Available Widgets" on the right, and those you do want from that list to the "Top", "Left", "Right" and "Bottom" areas! You can also shuffle the order of the widgets so that those you consider to be more important appear at the top of the page:
Don't forget to click 'Save' at the bottom of the editor screen to save your changes once made!
When you're done, check out your own ESS to see what you produced, it could look something like this:
