Clocking In and Out

Submitting your hours worked via HR Partner just became even easier! You can now clock in and out in just a few short steps!

It's important to know that there are two was to clock in/out within HR Partner and different levels of information that may be required by your Manager. With that in mind, there are a couple of questions you should ask your Manager before you begin clocking in and out:

  1. Are you using the Timeclock Portal or your Employee Portal?
  2. When are you required to clock in and out? This could be simply at the start and end of each day, or between breaks or perhaps project work.

Using the Timeclock Portal

If clocking in using the Timeclock portal, you will need a unique Timeclock ID, which is the code you will need to enter in order to clock in, as well as a link to the Timeclock portal itself. If you haven't been sent these already, you'll need to speak with your System Administrator or Manager.

The link to your Timeclock Portal will take you to a screen that looks similar to this:

All you need to do is enter your unique code into the box and hit "Ok".

If you have been asked to log your time against Projects and Activities you will then be taken to a screen that looks like this:

Once you have clocked in, you will see a confirmation message, like the one below:

Then, when its time to clock out, you simply head back to the portal and re-enter your code. Once you've done this, you will see a message that confirms how long you were clocked in during that session:

Using your Employee Self Service Portal

Clocking in via your Employee portal couldn't be more simple!

If this is an option for you, you'll see the Timeclock widget on your portal homepage and all you need to do is hit the "Start Timeclock" button at the bottom of the Widget. If you've been asked to log your time against projects you'll need to select the correct project and activity from the drop down lists first, then hit "Start Timeclock":

When you're ready, head back to your Employee Portal and hit "Stop Timeclock":
